This adhesive (K) square 50 g moisture absorber fixes to the inside of a box lid, a panel door or a cabinet wall using the tape on its back. It is used wherever a loose pack must not slide out of place or end up buried under the load.
Why the adhesive version is square
Adhesive tape needs a flat, continuous surface on the back of the pack to hold. A back-seam pillow pouch does not offer one: because the pouch is rounded, the tape only makes contact along a narrow strip and lets go at the first vibration. A four-side-sealed square pouch presents a complete flat plane, which is why the taped version is produced only in that format. The benefit of fixing follows from this: with the pack held in position it takes air from every face and does not lose efficiency by being compressed under the load.

Fitting the adhesive pack
- Remove the pack from its protective wrapper.
- Clean the mounting surface of dust and grease.
- Peel the protective film from the adhesive strip.
- Press the pack onto the flat surface so it makes full contact.
- When saturated, peel it off and fit a fresh one in the same place.

Which surfaces does it stick to?
Clean metal, plastic and painted surfaces. Adhesion is weaker on dusty, oily or damp surfaces.
Is there an adhesive back-seam version?
No. A pillow pouch has no flat back for the tape to grip, so the taped product is made in the square format.
Does it leave a mark when removed?
Usually not, but on weak paintwork it is worth testing on an unseen spot first.
