What actually causes window fog?

Humidity inside the cabin condenses when it meets glass that is colder than the air, and that condensation is what you see as fog. Where to put it in the car

Frequently asked questions

Does it stop fogging completely?
It lowers humidity enough to reduce fogging markedly, but ongoing sources such as wet mats will keep some of it.
