When to choose 500 g instead of 125 g

Pack size scales with the volume you need to protect. For a drawer, 125 g is more than enough; in a pantry or dressing room of several cubic metres the same pack saturates within weeks. The 500 g version has four times the capacity, so it both covers a larger area and stretches the replacement interval — which matters in spaces you cannot check regularly.
